Morning Briefing: Kingfisher Metals Drill 889.35m of .47% CuEq at HWY 37
Good morning and welcome back to the Mining Stock Daily morning briefing. I’m your host, Trevor Hall
It's Tuesday, January 13th.
Gold and silver began their move into new all-time high territory sunday evening following the news that the Federal Reserve was under investigation for their spending on renovations at the Federal Reserve buildings in DC. Powell called the move pretext to what is really happening, which is Trump’s efforts to reshape the Fed. Gold closed above $4,600/oz yesterday in a 2.5% move. Silver futures closed above $85/oz on the day. This morning, gold is unch while silver is now above $87. Industrial metals are also making headlines. Aluminum traded near its highest levels since 2022 while the Tin Barons are reuniting once again. It has been a standout with a record high $51,000/t.
We’ll get to the news from the miners and explorers here in a moment, but first a quick word about today’s sponsor.
This episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by… Vizsla Silver Corp

Kingfisher Metals announced further results from the 2025 drilling program on the HWY 37 project in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. Diamond drill holes HW-25-008 and -010 returned some of the longest copper intercepts from within the Williams porphyry copper-gold system. HW-25-008 cut 889.35 m 1 of 0.47% CuEq 2 starting at surface below 3.65 m of cover to end of hole at 893 m. Drillhole HW-25-010 returned 721.7 m of 0.46% CuEq starting below 4.3 m of cover which includes 78.7 m of 1.01% CuEq from 4.3 m depth. These drillholes demonstrate continuity of grade with mineralization from surface of bedrock to depth within the Williams deposit. (TSXV:KFR)(OTCQB:KGFMF) News Release
Vizsla Silver reporter results from 11 geotechnical drill holes targeting the Copala resource area at its 100%-owned, flagship Panuco silver-gold project. Highlights include 1,800 g/t AGEq over 3.8m, 840 g/t AgEq over 6.5m and 1,422 g/t over 8.9m. The 11 holes reported herein are part of 10,578 m geotechnical campaign comprised of 29 oriented holes completed for engineering studies that were included in Vizsla's recently announced Feasibility Study. Exploration and resource focused drilling at Copala have now traced mineralization along ~1,770 metres of strike length and ~400 metres down dip. (TSX: VZLA) (NYSE: VZLA) News Release
Collective Mining announced assay results from seventeen diamond drill holes at the San Antonio Project's Pound target, confirming the discovery of a shallow, high-grade and silver dominant vein system. A greenfield, outcropping, high-grade zone with multiple precious metal rich veins was discovered over a large area with first pass drilling, intercepting mineralization over 825 metres of strike and up to 850 metres below surface. Drilling returned 1m of 6,138 g/tAgEq, 1m of 2,793 g/t AgEq and .9m of 1,743 g/t AgEq. Deeper in the system, gold-dominant veins were discovered with .9m of 13.71 g/t AuEq and 4.1m of 17.1 g/t AuEq. Drilling at San Antonio is expected to resume imminently with planning underway to follow up on this new silver-rich vein system discovery and test for the potential of the copper-gold porphyry system at shallower elevations in the south.
