Morning Briefing: Kenorland Announces Maiden Resource for Frotet Proejct

Good morning and welcome back to the Mining Stock Daily morning briefing. I’m your host, Trevor Hall

It's Tuesday, December 16th.

Gold opened higher yesterday but was pushed down throughout the day for a marginal game on the day. $4,370/oz continues to be very stiff resistance for the metal. Silver was up 2.5% yesterday in a consolidation move as it attempts to tame down the huge moves higher over the past couple weeks. The market is bombarded with a huge data dump this morning. Unemployment for November has ticked up with a rate of 4.6%, exceeding estimates. October non farm payrolls were down sharply. That was delayed data. November payrolls came in a bit higher than expected. The response at time of recording is another leg lower for the dollar and a marginal move higher for precious metals.

We’ll get to the news from the miners and explorers here in a moment, but first a quick word about today’s sponsor.

This episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by… Vizsla Silver.

Vizsla Silver is focused on becoming one of the world’s largest single-asset silver producers through the exploration and development of the 100% owned Panuco-Copala silver-gold district in Sinaloa, Mexico. The company consolidated this historic district in 2019 and has now completed over 375,000 meters of drilling. The company has the world's largest, undeveloped high-grade silver resource. And here’s what you need to know this morning…..

Kenorland Minerals have reported the maiden inferred mineral resources estimate for the Regnault gold deposit at the Frotet Project in northern Quebec. The resource comes in at 14.5 Mt at 5.47 g/t for 2.55 million ounces. The resource has incorporated 289 drillholes totalling 127,217 m of drilling. The system remains open in multiple directions. Kenorland holds a 4% NSR royalty across the entirety of the Project, which is 100% owned and operated by Sumitomo Metal Mining. (TSXV: KLD) (OTCQX: KLDCF) News Release

Newcore Gold announced additional drill results from the 45,000m drill program at the Enchi Gold Project in Ghana. Shallow RC drilling at the Boin deposit intersected multiple zones of near-surface gold mineralization, including hole KBRC370 which intersected 3.16 grams per tonne gold ("g/t Au") over 3.0 metres ("m") from 62 m. Hole KBRC368 also returned shallow gold mineralization, intersecting 0.78 g/t Au over 16.0 m from 16 m, with a higher-grade interval of 8.17 g/t Au over 1.0 m from 31 m. 98%  of the RC drilling at Enchi is now complete for the required resource conversion in advance of commissioning the PFS. The company is anticipating released assay results from deeper drilling next month. (TSX-V: NCAU, OTCQX: NCAUF) News Release

Brixton Metals shared their updated and complete  assay results from the Trapper Gold Target at its wholly owned Thorn Project in northwestern British Columbia. Gold and silver mineralization were intersected in drilling at the Trapper Gold Target, extending up to 1km away from the main mineralized zone, within the NW-SE trending gold-in-soil anomaly. Results i included 3m of 4.27 g/t Au and 11.63 g/t Ag, 1.5m of 4.62 g/t Au and 5 g/t Ag, and 1.2m of 11.45 g/t Au and 9.21 g/t Ag. A total of 6272m was drilled at the Trapper Target from 30 holes this season. The Trapper gold zone remains open for expansion. (TSX-V: BBB, OTCQB: BBBXF) News Release

Awalé Resources has launched a 15,000m drill program to test target geology generated from geophysics, geochemistry, and surface interpretation. The $8M program will focus on its 100%-owned permits, which includes scout drilling at Sama and Seydou areas. 4000m of drilling has commenced at the Fremen target. Eight drill rigs are currently at Odienné, with one rig exclusive to 100%-owned permits. (TSXV: ARIC) (OTCQX: AWLRF) News Release

Onyx Gold published additional drill results from the Munro-Croesus Project near Timmins. Holes MC25-232 and MC25-233 are part of a series of planned northwest oriented holes designed to drill perpendicular to a recently defined northeast-trending structural corridor beneath the key Argus North outcrop exposed by mechanical stripping earlier this year. Hole 233 returned 194m of 1.8 g/t Au followed by a second lower interval of 60.7m of 1.3 g/t Au. Ongoing step-out drilling at the Argus North, Main and West discoveries has now defined broad zones of gold mineralization over a total strike length of 900 m and from surface to ~400 m vertically. Magna Mining has engaged Technica Mining to complete a pre-feasibility study for the Crean Hill Project in Sudbury. The PFS will commence in January 2026 and is expected to be completed in Q3 2026. It will build on the September 2024 PEA and incorporate additional work completed including the results from the 20,000 tonne bulk sample program that was executed in the second half 2024. That technical report shows an after-tax NPV of $194M and an IRR of 129% using, then, base case metal prices far below current prices. (TSXV: NICU) (OTCQX: MGMNF) News Release
