Morning Briefing: Heliostar Metals Drill 83.2m of 17.35 g/t Au at Ana Paula

Good morning and welcome back to the Mining Stock Daily morning briefing. I’m your host, Trevor Hall

It's Monday, November 24th.

Despite the volatility in the US stock market last week, gold held bravely just north of the $4000 an ounce support level. Silver closed the week just a few cents south of the $50 an ounce mark. In weekend mining news, there were reports that BHP had made a renewed attempt to takeover Anglo American during their Teck Resources takeover process. Whether there was legitimate truth to those events, BHP did release a press release stating that the company is no longer considering a combination with Anglo. And with the Thanksgiving Holiday this week, it will be a quieter week for economic data. But we will have Retail Sales tomorrow and CORE PCE Wednesday morning.

We’ll get to the news from the miners and explorers here in a moment, but first a quick word about today’s sponsor.

This episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by… Revival Gold.

And here’s what you need to know this morning…..

Scorpio Gold shared results from 7 holes from its 2025 drilling program at the Manhattan District Project in Nevada. The holes were a combination of holes from Phase One and Phase Two programs. Results included 1.52 g/t Au over 18.14m and 21.82 g/t Au over 3.23m from a depth of 168m. These holes from Mustang Hill indicate the presence of a previously unidentified structural trend that hosts gold mineralization at grades similar to the existing Mineral Resource along the margin of the Manhattan Caldera. These results present the opportunity to add a new, near-surface target zone to Manhattan that is proximal to the existing Mineral Resource. Future work will include reviewing historic drillholes and underground workings in the area to define the size and shape of this new target area to prepare for testing with diamond drilling. Other results reported today were 1.85 g/t Au over 24.67m and .94 g/t over 36.97m. (TSXV: SGN) (OTCQB: SRCRF) News Release

Heliostar Metals announced additional drill results from the current program at the Ana Paula Project in Mexico. The program aims to convert inferred ounces to higher confidence classifications. It will also support the ongoing Feasibility Study and testing the next exploration targets around the Ana Paula deposit. Results reported today included 83.2m of 17.35 g/t Au, 70.7m of 9.38 g/t Au, 92.1m of 4.33 g/t and 65.2m of 5.39 g/t Au. The company has decided to expand the current drill program by 33% to 20,000m to allow for more infill and exploration work. Heliostar has completed 44 holes and 12,615 metres drilled to date. Fireweed Metals provided an update on work undertaken at the Mactung tungsten project in Yukon. The company has completed a multi-purpose drill program comprising geotechnical, hydrogeological, and infill drilling combined with sampling for the geometallurgical testwork program, providing critical information in advance of the upcoming Feasibility Study which is expected to commence before the end of 2025. Results from the program included 12m of 6.21% WO3 and 29m of 2.54% WO3. The company has also established a new camp with upgrades to infrastructure and a safe re-entry to the historical adit to provide access to high-grade underground workings, assessment of ground conditions and to support future project development activities. (TSXV: FWZ) (OTCQX: FWEDF) News Release

Snowline Gold announced additional drill results from its Rogue and Einarson projects in the eastern Yukon Territory. Drilling at Snowline's flagship Valley gold deposit on the Rogue Project continues to confirm and expand the scale of known mineralization, with initial assays from a new zone that is developing near the eastern margin of the Valley intrusion returning long intersections of anomalous gold across a broad area. Results were highlighted with 534.5m of .62 gt Au. Last week, famed short seller Carson Block said publicly he has taken a long position in the company. The stock shot up on the publication of that news. Block says he believes the company has taken a conservative approach to its own growth projections. (TSX-V:SGD) (OTCQB:SNWGF) News Release

Aldebaran Resources announced that Nuton Holdings has provided notice of termination of the option to joint venture agreement. Nuton had the right to acquire a 20% interest in the Altar project. Nuton's decision comes as they are shifting priorities to focus on later-stage projects that could potentially deliver nearer-term production. Despite the termination, Nuton and Aldebaran could still enter a licensing agreement to deploy the Nuton® Technology, proprietary bio-leaching technology, at Altar. (TSX-V: ALDE, OTCQX: ADBRF) News Release

Coppernico Metals has completed all required environmental studies, it has formally submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment – Semi-detailed drill permit application for its Sombrero Project in Peru. The permit, once granted, will facilitate expanded exploration opportunities across multiple high-priority copper-gold targets within and beyond the Ccascabamba target area, where the Company’s previous drilling was focused. The Application proposes a considerable expansion of the currently permitted drill area by approximately 2,120 hectares, for a total area of 3,024 ha , incorporating additional highly prospective targets. It also seeks to increase the number of drill platforms from 38 to 181, as well as the ability to deploy additional drill rigs.  (TSX: COPR, OTCQB: CPPMF) News Release
