Morning Briefing: Collective Mining and Cascadia Minerals Both Report Standout Exploration Results this Morning

Good morning and welcome back to the Mining Stock Daily morning briefing.

It's Tuesday, September 1st — a global bond yield breakout is hitting metals across the board this morning.

All four metals are in the red this morning. Gold is down 1.36% to $4,381 an ounce. Silver is off 2.54% to $64.83. Copper has pulled back 1.49% to $6.50 a pound.

Global bond yields are breaking out to multi-decade highs, and that is the pressure weighing on metals this morning. The UK 10-year gilt has surged to its highest level since June 2008, while German yields are at levels not seen since 2011, and Japan's 10-year JGB closed at 3% for the first time in 30 years. The US 10-year is now approaching the 5% threshold. The message to metals investors this morning is straightforward: rising rates lift the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets, and today's prices reflect that reality across the board.

We will get to the news from the miners and explorers in a moment, but first a mention of today’s sponsor:

Today's episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by…Vizsla Silver.

Vizsla Silver Corp. is advancing the Panuco Silver-Gold Project in Sinaloa, Mexico — one of the largest undeveloped primary silver deposits in the world, located in the heart of the prolific Sinaloa silver belt. The company is in advanced development and has been executing on a series of major milestones towards a construction decision. Vizsla Silver trades on the TSX and on the New York Stock Exchange both under the symbol VZLA.

Here’s what you need to know today.

Collective Mining has reported a significant extension to the Apollo Breccia at the Guayabales project in Caldas, Colombia — drilling 38.00 metres at 15.46 grams per tonne gold equivalent within a broader envelope of 141.40 metres at 4.88 grams per tonne gold equivalent, extending the known limits of the Apollo system. This result follows last week's metallurgical data showing recovery rates of 95% gold, 92% silver, 85% copper and 70% tungsten from the Apollo master composite, with an initial mineral resource estimate at Apollo still targeted for September 2026; Collective Mining trades on the TSX and on the Nasdaq both under the symbol CNL. NEWS RELEASE

Talisker Resources has released results from 30 additional drill holes in its 2026 resource conversion program at the producing Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia — led by hole UB-2026-034A, which returned 111.00 grams per tonne gold over 0.60 metres within a broader composite of 30.83 grams per tonne gold over 2.35 metres on the BK Vein. The program now tolals 75 holes and 21,143 metres drilled at the Mustang Mine. The company completed its first direct shipment of ore to Taiwan in late August, underground development continues in the Bralorne West zone with initial underground infill drilling now underway. Talisker Resources trades on the TSX as TSK and on the OTCQB as TSKFF. NEWS RELEASE

Cascadia Minerals has drilled what it describes as one of the highest-grade intersections in the history of the Carmacks copper-gold project in central Yukon. Hole CD-26-056 returned 82.69 metres at 1.12% copper and 0.64 grams per tonne gold, equating to 1.78% copper equivalent, including 49.16 metres of 2.62% copper equivalent. The area was previously thought to be barren. With six additional step-out holes in this area pending assay, the road-accessible 2026 drill program now expanded from 15,000 to 18,000 metres. Drilling is also underway at the Zone 14 and Zone A regional targets. Cascadia Minerals trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as CAM and on the OTCQB as CAMNF. NEWS RELEASE

DLP Resources has published a Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Aurora Copper-Molybdenum-Silver Project 60 kilometres northeast of Cusco, Peru, delivering a base-case after-tax NPV of $2.703 billion at an 8% discount rate, an IRR of 18.5%, and a 5.2-year payback at long-term prices of $4.90 per pound copper and $25.40 per pound molybdenum. The 17.5-year mine plan processes 402.9 million tonnes through a 7-year open-pit phase followed by a 15-year underground block cave producing an average of 90.5 million payable pounds of copper and 37.4 million payable pounds of molybdenum per year. The PEA covers just 30% of a combined resource base of 614 million indicated and over 1.1 billion inferred tonnes, preserving substantial multi-phase expansion potential. DLP Resources trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as DLP and on the OTCQB as DLPRF. NEWS RELEASE

Silver Bow Mining is reporting its strongest hole to date at the Rainbow Block Project in Butte, Montana. Drill hole SBM26-03 intersected 4.0 metres at 994.2 grams per tonne silver equivalent on the Badger Vein, grading 309.0 grams per tonne silver, 1.85 grams per tonne gold, nearly 10% zinc and almost 6% lead. The entire intercept is located approximately 125 metres beyond the current inferred resource boundary and confirms high-grade lateral continuity in the Badger Vein trend. Three surface rigs are running with 13,500 of the planned 25,000 feet of Phase I drilling now complete. Silver Bow Mining trades on the NYSE American under the symbol SBMT. NEWS RELEASE

Pecoy Copper has released results from six additional holes in its 35,000-metre drill program at the Pecoy porphyry project in southern Peru's Arequipa region — with the lead result coming from the Northwest zone, where hole PEC26-067 intersected 42.3 metres at 1.01% copper from just 33.7 metres depth within a broader 209-metre envelope at 0.40% copper starting from 15 metres. A third broad South Breccia intercept returned 804.0 metres at 0.34% copper in hole PEC26-072. This continues to build the case for the scale of that zone, all against a backdrop of an existing inferred resource of 865 million tonnes at 0.34% copper with only 16,000 metres drilled of a 35,000-metre 2026 program. Pecoy Copper trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as PCU and on the OTCQB as PCUUF. NEWS RELEASE
