Morning Briefing: Agnico Places a C$57M Strategic Investment into Radisson Mining

Good morning and welcome back to the Mining Stock Daily morning briefing.

It's Monday, August 24th, and gold is continuing to follow through on last week's big move.

Gold is up another 1.2% this morning to $4,663 an ounce — adding to last week's breakout above the 200-day moving average and continuing to hold its gains. Silver is higher by 0.5% to $69.33. Copper is up about 3/10ths to $6.59 a pound.

The Bank of Russia has disclosed that its gold holdings fell to 73.2 million ounces as of August 1st. This is the lowest level in more than six years, and down 1.6 million ounces from the start of the year. Russia has historically been one of the world's most aggressive accumulators of gold over the past decade, making this shift a meaningful signal worth watching — the drawdown is widely interpreted as a reflection of the sustained fiscal pressure the Kremlin is facing.

Texas oilman Albert Huddleston has emerged as an anchor investor in a proposal put forward by Glencore and others to take control of Sherritt International, the Toronto-listed miner best known for its nickel and cobalt operations in Cuba through the Moa joint venture. Sherritt has long traded at a significant discount due to the complexity of its Cuba exposure and its debt load. A Glencore-led privatization would bring one of the world's largest commodity traders into direct control of a significant nickel and cobalt stream.

We will get to the news from the miners and explorers in a moment, but first a mention of today’s sponsor:

This episode of Mining Stock Daily is brought to you by…Integra Resources.

Integra Resources is a US-focused gold and silver developer with two cornerstone assets — the DeLamar Gold-Silver Heap Leach Project in Owyhee County, Idaho, and the Florida Canyon Mine in Pershing County, Nevada. The Bureau of Land Management published the Notice of Intent for DeLamar's Environmental Impact Statement in May 2026, formally launching the federal NEPA review process, with Ausenco appointed to lead detailed engineering in June and long-lead procurement activities beginning later this year. Integra Resources trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under ITR and the NYSE American with ITRG.

Here’s what you need to know today.

Radisson Mining has announced a C$57.16M strategic investment by Agnico Eagle with Agnico subscribing to approximately 53 and a half million units at C$1.07. That’s aa 6% premium to the last close. This gives Agnico approximately 10.45% of Radisson on a non-diluted basis, along with board representation and participation rights. The proceeds will fund an Advanced Underground Exploration Program at the O'Brien Gold Project in the Abitibi, including an access ramp, underground and surface infrastructure, and water management facilities. The program is designed to build the geological and geotechnical dataset needed to define mining scenarios for the O’Brien Project. Radisson Mining trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as RDS and on the OTCQX as RMRDF. NEWS RELEASE

Hot Chili is reporting another strong round of results from its La Verde copper-gold porphyry discovery in Chile's coastal Atacama region, with step-out diamond drill hole DKD060 returning 472 metres grading 0.41% CuEq from 49 metres depth, including 105.8 metres grading 0.70% CuEq from 397 metres. Assays are still pending on the final 142 metres. Additionally, in-fill and shallow RC holes extended near-surface mineralization to 182 metres at 0.50% CuEq and 272 metres at 0.40% CuEq respectively. Hot Chili has added a fourth rig to accelerate drilling toward a maiden mineral resource estimate for La Verde later this year. Hot Chili trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as HCH and on the OTCQX as HHLKF. NEWS RELEASE

Talisker Resources has reported the successful loading and departure of its first direct ore shipment from the Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia to Taiwan. 10,944 wet metric tonnes at a weighted average grade of 8.71 grams per tonne gold are now in transit and expected to arrive around September 15th, marking the formal commencement of Talisker's direct shipping ore strategy for the project. The company is already accumulating material for the second shipment, with 7,106 tonnes of stockpile at the Lillooet crushing facility. The next marine vessel is expected to depart late October or early November. Talisker Resources trades on the TSX as TSK and on the OTCQX as TSKFF. NEWS RELEASE

Silver Bow Mining has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Jefferson County Metallurgical Complex in Montana through a bankruptcy sale for roughly US$28.6 million in cash payments to creditors plus contingent value rights. The acquisition is strategically important because the 1,000-tpd circuit is expected to be suitable for processing the high-grade mineralization from Silver Bow's Rainbow Block Project in nearby Butte which hosts an inferred resource of 11.48 million tons grading 14.8 ounces per ton silver equivalent, totaling 170 million silver equivalent ounces. Silver Bow Mining trades on the NYSE American as SBMT. NEWS RELEASE

Enduro Metals has completed its inaugural 2,700-metre drill program at the Andrei copper-gold porphyry target on the 688-square-kilometre Newmont Lake Project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle, with drill core logging identifying two distinct mineralizing systems across the 4-kilometre combined geophysical anomaly: porphyry-style alteration and quartz-sulphide veining in one hole, interpreted as the peripheral expression of a porphyry system, and low-sulphidation epithermal-style veining at the northeast anomaly. Assay results are pending, with the program having tested a geochemical and geophysical target that sits within a larger 14-kilometre magnetic-high trend; Enduro Metals trades on the TSX Venture Exchange as ENDR and on the OTC as ENDMF. NEWS RELEASE

And Gold Hart Copper announced results from their first comprehensive geochem soil survey at the Nessa Complex in Chile. The company says the survey successfully identified multiple zones of anomalous gold, copper, and silver, as well as associated pathfinder elements. The Gold Hart technical team is now integrating all these anomalies together with other geological observations in order to build a comprehensive interpretation. The element associations observed to date are compatible with polymetallic epithermal-style mineralization. Gold Hart Copper trades on the TSX Venture with HART. NEWS RELEASE
